Over 20 years ago an old friend gave me my 1st Hyacinth Bucket book, a hardcover. A few years ago I ordered the other 2 books associated with the show in paperback form. They were shipped from the UK, so l even kept the shipping labels, lol! I even have a Dame Patricia Rutledge playlist on my phone. I love everything she was in after Hyacinth as well!👍😃🐾🌈☮️🇨🇦

I hate television programs that show the presenters face when it should be about the views. Once you know what he or she looks like why keep interrupting the view with a face. Take lessons from other presenters who are less vain.

Absolutely beautiful, even though I'm not over-fond of palm trees and succulents, they do look great in the abbey gardens. The echium pininana (tree echiums) were stunning!

You should have seen it in the old museum before they relocated. It had a much longer track in those days.

A rather pleasant-looking neighborhood, especially on a bright Summer's day! I'm yet another American fan of KUA; my family &I discovered it in the (years) 2000's, from our wonderful (free) local PBS TV Channel. I have very fond memories of my dear Mom, brother & I laughing hysterically at Hyacinth & Company😊; these memories are precious since my mom (who became a huge KUA fan) died in 2021.🇺🇲🕊🇬🇧

I owned a Lada and It had no air flow…I don’t mean A/C, I mean any air flow…drove it in the Andes in Argentina on dry dusty/muddy mountain roads. I wanted to take a screwdriver and punch holes in it so I could get some air on my legs…the heat from the motor would be insufferable. I don’t miss that car at all! But, as for people who don’t think it is good enough, well, it is if that is all you have.

So many memories from great episodes popped up. I remember Hyacinth falling into that hedge (now a wall) at Onslo's house when the dog jumped out on her.
