We're American and our family has always enjoyed Keeping Up Appearances. We even named our small flock of chickens Hyacinth, Daisy, Rose and Violet - and their yard is known as the Bucket Barn. Thank you for your video.

Oh! Mrs. Barker-Finch’s house was just 2 or 3 doors down from Hyacinths, adjacent to Elizabeth’s house. In the show, for the story, they made it appear that “Villa Costa Blanca” (the Barker-Finch house) was just across the street from the Buckets’.

Thank you so much for revisiting the stately 'Bouquet residence'..I loved watching the brilliant Patricia Routledge in this entertaining, hilarious 90s comedy, with my beautiful British Mum..She would laugh hysterically at Hyacinth's shameless social climbing..It's such a pity this lovely home has been altered, but we've still got the wonderful series to remember it by..It was nice to see Elizabeth's home too..All of the cast were very talented and funny..This show also brings back happy memories of my gorgeous Mum, who enjoyed every episode of the unforgettable Keeping Up Appearances.! Great to see a tidy looking Lada still in use. In NZ they have become rare, and many Kiwis have stupidity brought beautiful but high maintenance BMW, Audis, Mercedes...... you get the picture.....

This is so cool that you did this video, I very much appreciate it. I’ve always been a big fan of “keeping up appearances.” Tea and light refreshments in 10 minutes dear, and mind the walls, I’ve had them freshly painted.

This is pretty cool I used to love this show on PBS in US they played it on. Oddly enough my fiancé and twin daughters are British rom the south (Salisbury) but every time i walk by a house like that (When in in the UK) I always think of this show. Sudded! Love from the USA! "Oh Nice!" -Onslow.

Onslow's house now has a BMW parked on the drive. A much nicer car than the one at the Bucket residence. I wonder what Hyacinth would say about that! 😂

Does anyone know if they reproduced the house on an outdoor set for filming ? Because they filmed a lot of scenes in front of the home and how would they have been able to do that in a real neighbourhood ?
